  1. With the wiper motor in the park position and the hood open; disconnect the negative battery cable. Disconnect and tag the washer hoses and all wiring from the motor assembly.

  3. Remove the wiper motor access cover.
  4.  
  5. Loosen the nuts which retain the drive link to the crank arm ball stud.
  6.  
  7. Remove the motor mounting screws or nuts and remove the motor.
  8.  
  9. Install the motor and tighten the mounting screws.
  10.  
  11. Connect the drive link to the crank arm with the wipers still in the park position.
  12.  
  13. Install the access cover and connect the hoses and wiring to the motor.
  14.  
  15. Connect the negative battery cable.
  16.  
  17. Before testing the motor, make sure that all tools and rags have been removed from the area.
  18.  
  19. Test the motor to insure that it returns to the park position and that the washers work. Make sure that there is no interference on either side of the windshield and that the wiper arms do not bind.
