REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Parking and Turn Signal Lights

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. From under the front wheelhouse, remove the access cover behind the parking and turn signal lamp.
  4.  
  5. Through the access hole in the wheelhouse, rotate the parking and turn signal socket counterclockwise 1 / 4 turn.
  6.  
  7. Pull the socket out from the back of the housing.
  8.

  1. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
  2.  
  3. Replace the bulb.
  4.  
  5. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  7. Verify light operation.

Front Side Marker Light (Town & Country)

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the retaining screw securing the side marker light housing to the front fascia.
  4.  
  5. Pull the side marker light housing away from the fascia.
  6.  
  7. Rotate the light socket counterclockwise 1 / 4 turn.
  8.  
  9. Pull the socket out from the back of the housing.
  10.  
  11. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
  12.  
  13. Replace the bulb.
  14.  
  15. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  16.  
  17. Verify light operation.
  18.  

Rear Turn Signal, Brake and Parking Lights

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Raise the liftgate.
  4.  
  5. Remove the 2 lamp assembly mounting screws.
  6.  
  7. Rotate the lamp assembly outward and unhook it from the forward retainer.
  8.

  1. Rotate the socket counterclockwise to remove it from the housing.
  2.  
  3. Remove the bulb by pulling it straight out of the socket.
  4.  
  5. Replace the bulb.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  9. Verify light operation.

High-mount Brake Light

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Raise the liftgate.
  4.  
  5. Remove the center high mounted stop light trim cover. Use care to prevent damaging the trim panel.
  6.  
  7. Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it from the light housing.
  8.

  1. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.

Dome Light

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Insert a small, flat bladed prying tool between the dome light lens and the left side of the dome light body.

  1. Disengage the left side of the dome light lens from the light body.
  2.  
  3. Pull the bulb from the socket.
  4.  
  5. Replace the bulb.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.

  9. Verify dome light operation.

Liftgate Courtesy Lamps

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Insert a small, flat bladed prying tool between the lamp lens and trim panel. Pry out the assembly.
  4.  
  5. Insert a small, flat bladed prying tool between the lamp lens and the housing body.
  6.

  1. Carefully depress the tabs retaining the lens to the body, then remove the lens.
  2.  
  3. Carefully press the lamp bulb contact toward the opposite contact.
  4.  
  5. Remove the bulb from the lamp body.
  6.

Header Reading/Courtesy Lamp

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Insert a small, flat bladed prying tool at the forward position between the reading/courtesy lamp lens and housing. Pry the lens out from the housing.

  1. Insert a small, flat bladed prying tool between the lamp light shield and the lamp housing at the inboard rear corner of the light shield. Pry the shield out from the housing.
  2.  
  3. Carefully press forward lamp bulb contact toward the opposite contact and rotate. Remove the bulb.
  4.  
  5. Replace the bulb.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  8.  
  9. Verify light operation.
  10.  

License Plate Light

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the license plate lamp lens retaining screws.
  4.  
  5. Pull the license plate lamp lens from the liftgate.
  6.

  1. Rotate the bulb socket 1 / 4 turn counterclockwise and pull out from the lamp lens.
  2.  
  3. Pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
  4.  

To install:
  1. Install the replacement bulb into the socket.
  2.  
  3. Install the bulb socket into the lens and lock it into place by rotating it 1 / 4 turn clockwise.
  4.  
  5. Place the license plate lamp lens into position on the liftgate.
  6.  
  7. Install and tighten the license plate lamp lens retaining screws.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10.  
  11. Verify license plate lamp operation.
  12.
