Colt
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Unplug the connector(s). Most of these connectors employ a waterproof connector. When disconnecting, make sure all parts of the connectors remain intact.
  4.  
  5. Remove the upper radiator hose if necessary.
  6.  
  7. Remove the mounting screws. The radiator and condenser cooling fans are separately removable.
  8.  
  9. Remove the fan assembly and disassemble as required.
  10.  
  11. The installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
  12.  
  13. Check the coolant level and refill as required.
  14.  
  15. Connect the negative battery cable and check the fan for proper operation.
  16.  

Vista

The condenser fan is mounted between the condenser and grille, requiring grille and possibly bumper disassembly for removal. Remove the grille very carefully, since it is made of easily breakable plastic.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the grille assembly. The grille is held in place with 1 or 2 screws and 5 or 6 clips that may require the use of a flat-tipped tool against the tab for release.
  4.  
  5. Unplug the connector. Most of these connectors employ a waterproof connector. When disconnecting, make sure all parts of the connectors remain intact.
  6.  
  7. Remove the mounting screws.
  8.  
  9. Remove the fan assembly through the grille opening.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Install the fan and secure with mounting screws.
  2.  
  3. Connect the connector. Connect the negative battery cable and check the fan for proper operation before assembling the remaining parts. Disconnect the negative battery cable before continuing.
  4.  
  5. Install the grille.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable and recheck the system.
  8.
