Manual transmission equipped cars may be started by pushing, in the event of a dead battery. Ensure that the push car bumper doesn't override the bumper of your car. Depress the clutch pedal. Select Second or Third gear. Switch the ignition ON. When the car reaches a speed of approximately 10 mph, release the clutch to start the engine.
Front Wheel Drive cars should be flat-bedded, or towed with the front wheels off of the ground.
