REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Concord, Intrepid and Vision
  1. Take the vehicle to a certified shop to have the system discharged properly.
  2.
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  4.
  5. Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Cap the lines to minimize contamination.
  6.
  7. Remove the condenser mounting bolts. Unscrew the 3 / 4 inch nut at the receiver/drier.
  8.
  9. Remove the screw from the condenser inlet tube bracket and spread the bracket open. The receiver/drier comes out separate from the condenser.
  10.
  11. Lift the condenser from the vehicle.
  12.

To install:
  1. Reposition the condenser and install the receiver/drier into the bracket. Install the nut at the bracket.
  2.
  3. Install the condenser mounting bolts.
  4.
  5. Connect the refrigerant lines to the condenser. Use NEW O-rings and/or gaskets and coat all sealing surfaces with wax free refrigerant oil.
