The LH model vehicles use a MacPherson type front suspension. The strut is attached to the vehicle at the shock tower using three studs which are part of the top mount. The lower end of the strut is attached to the upper leg of the steering knuckle with two serrated bolts. A forged lower control arm assembly is attached to the front cradle and knuckle. A tension strut connects the lower control arm to the front cradle. The front hub and bearing assembly (a sealed unit) is attached to the steering knuckle. The outer constant velocity (CV) joint assembly is splined to the front hub assembly and is retained by a prevailing torque nut.
