Rear Axle Alignment

Just as the front end of the front wheel drive Chrysler vehicles needs to be periodically aligned to reduce irregular tire wear and deteriorating ride comfort, so too must the rear end of the vehicles be aligned. The rear axle assemblies of the vehicles covered by this guide have provisions built-in to allow the rear end to be aligned. Aligning the rear axles also helps to reduce tire wear and improve driving characteristics of the vehicle. Aligning the rear end of the vehicle, although a simple task, requires complex tools be used to accurately align the vehicle. Thus, the vehicle should be aligned by a qualified automotive service facility.
