    1. Lift up on the driver's side wiper arm and move the retainer tab fully away from the wiper arm.

    3. Grasp the blade and arm assembly and pull up off the wiper arm shaft.
    4.  
    5. Disconnect the washer hose on the driver's side blade from the metal line.
    6.  
    7. Unplug the washer hose on the right blade from the metal line.
    8.  
    9. Lift up on the passenger's side wiper arm and move the retainer tab fully away from the wiper arm.
    10.  
    11. Grasp the blade and arm assembly and pull up off of the wiper arm shaft.
    12.  
    13. Remove the rear hood seal along with the cowl screen.
    14.  
    15. Remove the linkage assembly mounting bolts.
    16.  
    17. Disconnect the wiper arm linkage, using a ball joint/tie rod separator, separate the ball cap from the ball.
    18.  
    19. Remove the caps by placing a cap shoulder over a socket larger than the shoulder. Tap on the cap into the socket and remove.
    20.  
    21. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness.
    22.  
    23. Extract the wiper motor/linkage assembly.
    24.  

    To install:
    1. Connect the electrical wiring harness.
    2.  
    3. Place the linkage on the socket, then install the cap into position over the socket and tap on the shoulder of the cap to lock it into position.

    1. Connect the washer hose.
    2.  
    3. Position the wiper linkage/motor assembly and secure it with the mounting bolts.
    4.  
    5. Tighten the mounting bolts to 8-10 ft. lbs. (11-14 Nm).
    6.  
    7. Cycle the wipers once and allow them to park to make sure that they are installed in the correct position.
    8.  
    9. Install the cowl screen and rear hood seal. Tighten the screen hold-down bolts.
    10.  
    11. Inspect the weather-stripping to ensure full engagement to the upper lip of the dash panel (firewall).
    12.  
    13. Connect the right washer hoses to the hoses on the wiper arms.
    14.  
    15. Slide the wiper arms onto the shafts until they snap in place. Install the wiper arms onto the shaft orienting it so that the tip of the blade is 1 inch (25mm) from the bottom of the windshield.
    16.  
    17. Start the vehicle and check for proper operation.
