  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the front door trim panel.
  4.  
  5. Remove the side view mirror remote adjusting knob cover, if equipped.
  6.  
  7. Remove the screws holding the mirror bezel to the door frame. Separate the bezel from the door. Loosen the setscrew holding the bezel to the mirror adjuster cable, if equipped.
  8.  
  9. Remove the silencer seal from the door frame behind the mirror bezel.
  10.  
  11. Unplug the power mirror wire connector, if equipped.
  12.  
  13. Remove the access hole cover.
  14.  
  15. Remove the nuts holding the mirror to the door frame, then separate the mirror from the door.
  16.  

To install:
  1. Position the mirror against the door frame, then install the retaining nuts. Tighten the nuts until snug.
  2.  
  3. Install the access hole cover.
  4.  
  5. Attach the wire connector to the mirror, if applicable.
  6.  
  7. Install the silencer seal to the door frame.
  8.  
  9. Install the bezel over the mirror adjuster cable (if equipped) and install the bezel to the door frame. Tighten the bezel setscrew to hold the mirror adjuster cable in position.
  10.  
  11. Install the side view mirror remote adjusting knob cover, if equipped.
  12.  
  13. Install the door trim panel.
  14.  
  15. Connect the negative battery cable.
  16.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the mirror bezel from the inside surface of the mirror.
  4.  
  5. Remove the front door trim panel.
  6.  
  7. Remove the screws holding the retainer to the door. Remove the retainer.
  8.  
  9. Unplug the power mirror wire connector, if equipped.
  10.  
  11. Remove the nuts holding the mirror to the door. Separate the mirror from the door.
  12.  

To install:
  1. Position the mirror against the outside of the door, then install the retaining nuts until tight.
  2.  
  3. Engage the power mirror wire connector, if equipped.
  4.  
  5. Install the retainer and secure it in place with the retainer mounting screws.
  6.  
  7. Install the bezel on the inside of the mirror.
  8.  
  9. Install the front door trim panel.
  10.  
  11. Connect the negative battery cable.
  12.
