EXCEPT PREMIER AND MONACO



The Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC) or Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is located in engine compartment, to the left of the battery. For more details, refer to Driveability & Emissions Controls .

If equipped with the A604 automatic transaxle, the transaxle control computer is located in the right front of the engine compartment, mounted to the inside of the fender. For more information, refer to Drive Train .

The body control computer, if so equipped, is located inside the passenger compartment, behind the right side kick panel.

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) control computer is located depending on the year of the vehicle as follows:



1988-90: The Bosch III ABS controller is located behind the rear seat bulkhead trim panel in the trunk.
 
1991-95: The Bendix Type 10 ABS controller is located under the battery tray.
 
1992-95: The Bendix Type 6 ABS controller is located on the inner right-hand fender in the engine compartment.
 

If the vehicle is equipped with automatic load leveling or automatic air suspension, the control computer is located behind the right side trunk trim panel.

PREMIER AND MONACO



The Engine Control Unit (ECU-except vehicles built after October 9, 1991) is located under the right side of the instrument panel. For more details, refer to Driveability & Emissions Controls .

The Single Board Engine Controller (SBEC-vehicles built on or after October 9, 1991) is located in the left front area of the engine compartment. For more information, refer to Driveability & Emissions Controls .

The transaxle controller is located in the right front area of the engine compartment.

The Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Controller is located on the front of the right front strut tower in the engine compartment. For more details, refer to Brakes .
