Rear Window Washer/Wiper Switch

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Use these service procedures as guide. Slight variations may occur due to extra connections, etc., but the basic procedure should work on applicable models.

Except Daytona and LeBaron Coupe/Convertible
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the instrument cluster bezel as described above.
  4.  
  5. Remove the left lower trim bezel by pulling it off the two attaching clips. Pull it out of the dash just far enough to reach the wiring connectors. Note the wires and their connector locations for easy reinstallation, detach the connectors.
  6.  
  7. Remove the 2 screws attaching the wiper switch to the bezel assembly and pull it off.
  8.  

To install:
  1. Install the wiper switch and install the attaching screws.
  2.  
  3. Plug the electrical connectors back together.
  4.  
  5. Install the bezel and mounting screws.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.  

Daytona and LeBaron Coupe/Convertible
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Lift the console lid. Remove the 2 screws from the console bezel and lift the bezel assembly out of the console.
  4.  
  5. Detach the rear wiper/washer switch connectors.
  6.  
  7. Remove the 2 switch-to-bezel mounting screws and remove the switch from the bezel.
  8.  

To install:
  1. Install the switch and secure in place with the mounting screws.
  2.  
  3. Attach the rear wiper/washer switch connectors.
  4.  
  5. Install the bezel assembly and secure in place with the 2 retaining screws.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.
