REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



1967-73 Models
  1. Remove both headlight bezels.
  2.  
  3. Remove the grille extension.
  4.  
  5. Unplug the headlight wires.
  6.  
  7. Remove the grille attaching screws at each end and in the center, then lift off the grille.
  8.  

To install:
  1. Insert the new grille with its attaching bolts.
  2.  
  3. Plug the headlight wires in, then install the grille extensions.
  4.  
  5. Install the headlight bezels.
  6.  

1974-76 Models
  1. Remove both headlamp bezels.
  2.  
  3. Remove the grille upper screws.
  4.  
  5. Remove the grille lower screws.
  6.  
  7. Remove the attaching screws at each end of the grille.
  8.  
  9. Remove the grille-to-extension screws.
  10.  
  11. Remove the screws at each end of the extension.
  12.  

To install:
  1. Place the extensions in position and loosely insert all mounting screws for them.
  2.  
  3. Insert the center grille and place all screws in place. Tighten them all once the grille is aligned.
  4.  
  5. Install the headlamp bezels.
  6.  

1977-88 Models

See Figures 1, 2 and 3

  1. Remove the grille upper screws.
  2.  
  3. Unfasten the grille lower screws.
  4.  
  5. Remove the attaching screws at each end of the grille.
  6.  
  7. Unfasten the screws at each end of the extension.
  8.  
  9. Remove the grille.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Place the grille extensions in position, then install all the screws loosely.
  2.  
  3. Center the grille extensions and tighten the screws.
  4.  
  5. Place the grille in the opening and center it, then install and tighten all the screws.
  6.
