REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Front Bench Seats
  1. Remove the seat track-to-floor pan bolts and lift out the seat.
  2.  

To install:
  1. Apply sealer to the hole areas and install the seat. Torque the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).
  2.  

Driver's Bucket Seat
  1. Remove the seat track-to-floor pan bolts and lift out the seat.
  2.  

To install:
  1. Apply sealer to the hole areas and install the seat. Torque the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).
  2.  

Passenger's Bucket Seat
THROUGH 1987
  1. Remove the nuts mounting the hinge section of the riser to the floor of the truck.
  2.  
  3. Release the lock from the lock catch and remove the seat.
  4.  

To install:
  1. Position the seat, then latch the catch.
  2.  
  3. Install the hinge mounting nuts and tighten.
  4.  

1988 MODELS
  1. Remove the nuts mounting the hinge section of the riser to the floor of the truck.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the gas prop from the bottom of the seat.
  4.  
  5. Release the lock from the lock catch and remove the seat.
  6.  

To install:
  1. Position the seat, then secure the hinge section of the riser to the floor with nuts.
  2.  
  3. Connect the gas prop to the bottom of the seat.
  4.  
  5. The lock should line up with the lock catch mounted on the floor.
  6.  

Rear Bench Seat
  1. Remove the seat track-to-floor pan bolts and lift the seat and track out of the truck.
  2.  

To install:
  1. Apply sealer to the area of the bolt holes.
  2.  
  3. Position the new seat, then torque the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).
  4.

Folding Rear Seat
PICK-UPS

The side-facing seats are held in place with 2 bolts. The forward facing seat is held down with 4 bolts. When replacing the seat, use sealer in the bolt hole areas. Torque the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (40 Nm).

RAMCHARGER AND TRAIL DUSTER

To remove the folding rear seat, fold down the seat back and unlatch the seat from the floor. Fold the seat forward and remove the seat track-to-floor bolts. Torque the bolts to 60 ft. lbs. (82 Nm).
