Chrysler Full-Size Trucks 1967-1988 Repair Guide

1970 and Later Models

A jack may used under the rear axle at the spring U-bolts or under the front suspension crossmember in the reinforced area inboard and next to the lower control arm pivot.

Never use a floor jack under any part of the underbody. Do not attempt to raise one entire side of the vehicle by placing a jack midway between the front and rear wheels. This may result in permanent damage to the body!

For models supplied with a bumper jack, notches are provided in the bumper for raising the vehicle.
