REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Bench Type

See Figure 1

  1. Remove the seat track-to-floor pan bolts. Detach the shoulder and lap seat belts from the seat, then lift out the seat.

  1. To install, apply sealer to the hole areas and install the seat. Tighten the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (41 Nm). Replace the shoulder and lap seat belts.

Bucket Type

DRIVER'S SIDE

See Figure 2

  1. Remove the seat track-to-floor pan bolts and lift out the seat.
  2.

  1. To install, apply sealer to the hole areas and install the seat. Tighten the bolts to 30 ft. lbs. (41 Nm).

PASSENGER'S SIDE

See Figure 3

  1. Remove the nuts mounting the hinge section of the riser to the underbody of the truck.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the gas prop from the bottom of the seat.
  4.

  1. Release the lock from the lock catch and remove the seat.
  2.  
  3. Installation is the reverse of removal.
