  1. Raise the glass to the full UP position.
  2.  
  3. Remove the trim panel and watershield.
  4.  
  5. Remove the down-stop bumper bracket.
  6.  
  7. Lower the glass all the way.
  8.  
  9. Remove the lower vent window support bolt.
  10.  
  11. Locate the vent window retaining clip screw through the weatherstripping and remove the screw.
  12.  
  13. Lower the door glass and tilt the vent window assembly rearward.
  14.  
  15. Remove the vent window.
  16.  
  17. Disconnect the regulator wiring from the harness.
  18.  
  19. Slide the door glass forward to disconnect it from the regulator.
  20.  
  21. Remove the inside weatherstripping from the glass opening.
  22.  
  23. Lift the glass from the door.
  24.  
  25. Drill out the regulator mounting rivets.
  26.  

To install:
  1. Install the regulator. Replace the rivets with 1 / 4 -20X 1 / 2 inch bolts and nuts, torqued to 90 in. lbs.
