1967-69 Models

  1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the glove box and ashtray.
  4.  
  5. Remove the instrument cluster.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the wiper switch wiring.
  8.  
  9. Remove the wiper linkage-to-pivots retaining clips and disconnect the linkage from the pivots.
  10.  
  11. Remove the 4 wiper motor mounting plate nuts and lift the motor and mounting plate off the studs and out from under the dash panel through the glove box opening.
  12.  
  13. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  14.  

1970-78 Models

  1. Raise the hood.
  2.  
  3. Unplug the wiring at the motor.
  4.  
  5. Remove the 3 wiper motor mounting flange bolts.
  6.  
  7. Lower the motor to gain access to the spring clip that retains the wiper linkage. Release the spring clip and remove the motor.
  8.  
  9. Installation is the reverse of removal.
  10.  

1979-88 Models

  1. Raise the hood.
  2.  
  3. Unplug the wiring at the motor.
  4.  
  5. Remove the wiper motor mounting bolts.
  6.  
  7. Lower the motor to gain access to the crank arm-to-drive link bushing.
  8.  
  9. Disconnect the crank arm from the drive link by prying the bushing off.
  10.  
  11. Remove the motor.
  12.  
  13. Installation is the reverse of removal.
