  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the windshield wiper arms and disconnect the windshield washer hoses.
  4.  
  5. Remove the cowl grille. Snap out the glove box.
  6.  
  7. On vehicles equipped with air conditioning, remove the right air duct.
  8.  
  9. Reaching through the glove box opening, unplug the antenna cable from the radio.
  10.  
  11. Working through the cowl opening, remove the antenna cable and mounting grommet.
  12.  
  13. Unscrew the antenna mast from the mounting adapter.
  14.  
  15. Reach through the cowl opening and hold the antenna body.
  16.  
  17. Remove the adapter cap nut and pull the antenna from the sheet metal.
  18.  

To install:
  1. Place the antenna in the sheet metal and install the adapter cap nut. Tighten the capnut to 100-150 inch lbs. (11-17 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Install the mast in the adapter.
  4.  
  5. Install the cable and grommet through the cowl.
  6.  
  7. Plug the antenna cable into the radio.
  8.  
  9. On vehicles equipped with air conditioning, install the right air duct.
  10.  
  11. Install the glove box.
  12.  
  13. Connect the washer hoses at the nozzles.
  14.  
  15. Install the cowl grille.
  16.  
  17. Install the windshield wiper arms.
  18.  
  19. Connect the battery ground cable.
  20.
