The inside engine cover is attached to the floor with retaining clips and with screws at the rear; it also latches to the firewall.

  1. Remove the rear retaining screws.
  2.  
  3. Unfasten the latches at the front.
  4.  
  5. Remove the cover.
  6.  

To install:
  1. Place the cover in position.
  2.  
  3. Install the rear screws finger-tight.
  4.  
  5. Fasten the front latches, then tighten the mounting screws to 3 inch lbs. (3 Nm).
  6.
