REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



If the seat is in the raised position, it is possible to access and remove the seat and/or power seat adjuster and motors without removing the seat riser.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the rearward facing fasteners that secure the rear shield to the seat riser.
  4.  
  5. Label and disconnect the power seat feed and seat belt switch electrical harnesses.
  6.  
  7. Remove the nuts that secure the seat riser to the studs on the floor panel.
  8.  

The rear nuts are accessed by lifting up the seat riser rear shield.

  1. Remove the seat, the power seat adjuster and motors and the seat riser as a unit.
  2.  
  3. Remove the screws that secure the power seat adjuster and motors to the seat cushion frame.
  4.  
  5. Label and disconnect the power seat switch electrical harness.
  6.  
  7. Remove the power seat adjuster and motors from the seat riser.
  8.  

To install:
  1. Install the power seat adjuster and motors on the seat riser. Tighten the screws to 200 inch lbs. (23 Nm).
  2.  
  3. Connect the power seat switch electrical harness.
  4.  
  5. Install the screws that secure the power seat adjuster and motors to the seat cushion frame. Tighten the screws to 200 inch lbs. (23 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the seat and tighten the nuts to 55 ft. lbs. (75 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Connect the power seat feed and seat belt switch electrical harnesses.
  10.  
  11. Install the rearward facing fasteners that secure the rear shield to the seat riser.
  12.  
  13. Connect the negative battery cable.
  14.
