REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Seats

See Figures 1, 2 and 3

  1. Move the seat to the fully forward position.
  2.  
  3. Remove the bolts holding the rear of the seat track to the floor.
  4.

  1. Move the seat to the rearward position.
  2.  
  3. Remove the bolts securing the front of the seat to the floor.

  1. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
  2.

To install:
  1. Move the seat to the fully rearward position and make sure both seat tracks are locked into position.
  2.  
  3. Place the seat in position in the vehicle. Do not use the head restraint, side shield, recliner handle, or the adjuster lift bar to move the seat.
  4.  
  5. Make sure that the locating tabs on the front mounting feet are installed through the slits in the carpet and into the openings in the floor pan crossmember.
  6.  
  7. Install and tighten the front inboard bolt holding the seat track to the floor crossmember. Install and tighten the front outboard bolt holding the seat track to the floor crossmember. Tighten all bolts to 40 ft. lbs. (55 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Move the seat to the forward position. Check to make sure the inboard and outboard tracks are latched in the full forward position.
  10.  
  11. Install the bolts holding the rear of the seat track to the floor, then tighten to 40 ft. lbs. (55 Nm).
  12.  

Rear Seats

REAR SEAT BACK

See Figures 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8

  1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
  2.

  1. Unfasten the bolts securing the rear seat back and seat belts to the floor.

  1. Push the rear seat back upward to disengage the hooks at the top of the seat back, then remove the seat back from the vehicle.

To install:
  1. Place the rear seat back into position in the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Push the seat back downward to engage the hooks at the top of the seat back.
  4.  
  5. Install the bolts holding the rear seat back and seat belts to the floor. Tighten the retainers to 42 ft. lbs. (57 Nm).
  6.  
  7. Install the rear seat cushion.
  8.  

REAR SEAT CUSHION

See Figure 9

  1. Pull upward at each end of the rear seat cushion to disengage the retainer loops from the cups in the floor.
  2.  
  3. Remove the rear seat cushion from the vehicle.
  4.

To install:
  1. Place the rear seat cushion in position under the bottom of the seat back.
  2.  
  3. Position the inboard seat belts on top of the seat cushion.
  4.  
  5. Guide the seat cushion loops into the retainer cups in the floor pan.
  6.  
  7. Push downward on the front corners of the seat cushion to engage the retainers.
  8.
