REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



Front Turn Signal and Parking Lights

See Figures 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

  1. Open the vehicle's hood and secure it in an upright position.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  4.  
  5. Unfasten the screws securing the parking and turn signal light to the headlight module.
  6.

  1. Separate the lamp from the module.
  2.

  1. Twist the bulb and socket to unlock, then pull the assembly from the housing. Pull the bulb from the socket.
  2.

To install:
  1. Place the bulb in the socket. Position the bulb and socket in the housing, then turn the assembly to lock it into place.
  2.  
  3. Position the light to the headlight module, and secure with the retaining screws.
  4.  
  5. Connect the negative battery cable, then check the light operation.
  6.  

Side Marker Light

See Figures 6 and 7

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Raise and safely support the vehicle. The vehicle only has to be raised enough for you to access the light inside the front bumper.
  4.

  1. Reach behind the front bumper fascia in forward of the front wheel.
  2.  

  1. Turn the bulb and socket to unlock it, then pull the assembly from the rear of the housing.
  2.  
  3. Carefully pull the bulb straight out of the socket.
  4.

To install:
  1. Place a new bulb in the socket.
  2.  
  3. Position the bulb and socket in the rear of the housing and turn to lock into position.
  4.  
  5. Carefully lower the vehicle.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable, then check the light operation.
  8.  

Rear Turn Signal, Brake and Parking Lights

See Figures 8, 9, 10 and 11

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then open the trunk.
  2.  
  3. Separate the trunk lining from the rear closure panel to gain access to the back of the tail light.
  4.

  1. Rotate and remove the bulb socket from the tail light, through the openings in the rear closure panel.
  2.

  1. Pull the bulb from the socket.
  2.

To install:
  1. Push the bulb into the socket.
  2.  
  3. Install the bulb socket into the tail light through the openings in the rear closure panel, then rotate to lock into place.
  4.  
  5. Install the trunk lining to the rear closure panel.
  6.  
  7. Close the trunk lid.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10.  

High-mount Brake Light

See Figures 12, 13 and 14

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable, then open the trunk.
  2.  
  3. Rotate and remove the bulb socket from the high-mount brake light housing.
  4.  
  5. Pull the bulb from the socket.
  6.

To install:
  1. Push the bulb into the socket.
  2.  
  3. Position the bulb socket in the housing, then rotate to lock into place.
  4.  
  5. Close the trunk, connect the negative battery cable, then check light operation.
  6.  

Dome Light

See Figures 15 and 16

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Insert a small prytool between the headliner and dome lamp lens.
  4.

  1. Carefully pry downward on the four corners of the lamp lens.
  2.  
  3. Separate the lens from the lamp.
  4.

  1. Pull the bulb from the lamp socket.
  2.  

To install:
  1. Position the bulb into the socket and snap into place.
  2.  
  3. Positoin the lens onto the lamp and snap securely into place.
  4.  
  5. Connect the negative battery cable.
  6.  

License Plate Lights

See Figures 17, 18, 19 and 20

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.

  1. Remove the screws holding the license plate lamp to the rear bumper fascia.
  2.  
  3. Separate the lamp from the bumper.
  4.  
  5. Remove the bulb socket from the lamp, then pull the bulb from the socket.
  6.

To install:
  1. Push the bulb into the socket.
  2.  
  3. Place the bulb socket into the lamp.
  4.  
  5. Position the lamp into the bumper then install the screws holding the lamp to the rear bumper.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.
