Removal & Installation



Radio Chassis-Front Control Unit
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Install the radio removing tool into the radio face plate far enough to engage the retaining clips.
  4.  
  5. Apply a slight spreading force on the tools and pull the radio chassis out of the instrument panel.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the wiring connectors and remove the radio chassis.
  8.  

To install:

  1. Connect the wiring connectors to the radio chassis.
  2.  
  3. Slide the radio chassis into the instrument panel. Making sure it is squarely inserted.
  4.  
  5. Push the radio chassis inward until the retaining clips are fully engaged.
  6.  
  7. Connect the negative battery cable.
  8.  

Radio Chassis-Rear Chassis Unit
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Remove the luggage compartment front cover from the luggage compartment.
  4.  
  5. Pull down the rear of the module tray.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect
  8.  
  9. Remove the ground screw and ground strap from the rear chassis unit.
  10.  
  11. Remove the rear chassis unit from the module tray.
  12.  

To install:

  1. Install the rear chassis unit into the module tray.
  2.  
  3. Install the ground strap to the rear chassis unit with the ground screw.
  4.  
  5. Connect the radio antenna isolator to the rear chassis unit cable and the wiring connectors to the rear chassis unit.
  6.  
  7. Secure the module tray with pushpins and install the luggage compartment front cover.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10.
