Crossfire 2006-2008

Pressure Bleeding

  1. Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the Precautions Section.
  3. Follow the manufactures instructions carefully when using pressure equipment. DO NOT exceed the tank manufacturer's pressure recommendations. Generally, a tank pressure of 15-20 psig (51-67 kPa) is sufficient for bleeding.
  5. Fill the bleeder tank with recommended brake fluid and purge air from the tank lines before bleeding.
  7. Do not pressure bleed without a proper master cylinder adapter. The wrong adapter can lead to leakage, or drawing air back into the system. Use an adapter provided with the equipment.
