Drain the radiator, disconnect the radiator hoses, disconnect the battery, and remove the oil dipstick. Remove the fan shroud attaching screws, and loop the shroud rearward over the engine. Jack up the vehicle and drain the oil.
Remove the steering arm center link. Disconnect the idler arm ball joints.
Disconnect the exhaust pipe from the manifold and secure it out of the way.
Support the block with a jack and wooden block. Remove the front engine mounts and raise the engine 1
to 2 inches. Take out the oil pan attaching bolts. Rotate the engine crankshaft in order to clear the counterweights. Remove the oil pan.
To install the pan, reverse the removal procedure. Tighten the pan bolts to 200 in. lbs. Use a new gasket.

Disconnect the battery and remove the dipstick.
Jack up the vehicle and drain the oil. Remove the torque converter-to-engine left housing strut.
