Drain the radiator, disconnect its upper and lower hoses, and remove the fan shroud.
Raise the vehicle and remove the front engine mounting bolts. Jack the engine up 2 in. under the right front corner of the oil pan.
Remove the oil filter, oil pump attaching bolts, and pump assembly.
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedures. Always us a new O-ring and gaskets. Tighten the bolts to 200 in. lbs.

Remove the oil pan.
Remove the oil pump from the rear main bearing cap.
Reverse the above steps to install. Tighten the bolts to 30 ft. lbs.
