The front end height should be checked whenever suspension components are replaced and before front end alignment.
- Bounce the front of the car several times, releasing it on a downward bounce.
- Measure from the lowest point of the lower control arm inner pivot bushing to the floor. This should be between 10 1 / 8 -10 1 / 4 in.
- Adjust by turning the long bolts at the ends of the torsion bars. The left side bolt adjusts the right side height and vice-versa.
- Maximum side-to-side variation is 1 / 8 in.
