TESTING

Fuel pump output can be tested by rigging the pump to discharge into a container. It should pump one quart of fuel in a minute or less, with the engine running at idle speed.

WARNING
Use a big container so that it doesn't overflow. Have an assistant ready to stop the engine. Be extremely careful not to spill fuel on hot engine parts.
