The body code plate contains important information about your particular car which is usually needed for any correspondence with the factory. The plate is located on the left front fender side shield, on the left side of the upper radiator support or on the wheel housing.
The information on the plate is coded in 6 rows of digits and is read from left to right. The information can be interpreted using the information shown in the illustration.
