Removal & Installation



RWAL Valve
  1. Remove the RWAL valve harness connector from the controller.
  2.  
  3. Remove the brake lines from the valve.
  4.  
  5. Remove the valve mounting bolt and remove the valve from the bracket.
  6.  
  7. Installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the mounting bolt to 15-20 ft. lbs. (20-27 Nm). Tighten the brake line fittings to 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm).

The assembly is located on the driver-s side inner fender under the hood. The assembly modulates hydraulic pressure to the rear brakes during a RWAL (Rear Wheel Anti-Lock) stop.
