Possible Causes:



This DTC may set due to low system voltage. Ensure that the vehicle battery has passed a load test and is completely charged. Refer to Battery Inspection/Test . Verify the charging system is operating correctly. Refer to Charging System Test . Verify there is no parasitic drain on the battery. Refer to Battery Electrical Drain/Parasitic Load Test .

Possible Causes:



This DTC cannot be retrieved with a current status. Diagnosis of current DTC is accomplished via the symptom, Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with GMLAN Device. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with High Speed GMLAN Device .
 
An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a short on the GMLAN serial data circuits. Use the Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with GMLAN Device procedure in order to isolate an intermittent condition. Refer to Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with High Speed GMLAN Device .
 

Trouble Code: U0073



High Speed Communication Bus

Possible Causes:



An intermittent condition is likely to be caused by a short on the high speed GMLAN serial data circuits.
 
This DTC cannot be retrieved with a current status. Diagnosis is accomplished using the symptom Scan Tool Does Not Communicate with High Speed GMLAN Device .
 
Refer to Data Link References for the specific modules using high speed GMLAN serial data.

Possible Causes:



DTC U0107 sets if the battery voltage is low or the PCM is replaced or reflashed. If the customer's concern is slow cranking, or if the engine is not cranking because the battery voltage is low, ignore DTC U0107. Clear any DTCs from memory that may have set from the low battery voltage condition.
 
If the condition is intermittent, refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections .
