The control arm bushings are not serviceable. If they require service, the upper or lower arm must be replaced.
Removal & Installation
Before servicing the vehicle, refer to the -Precautions- section.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
Remove and discard the lower ball joint nut.
Using a proper tool, separate the lower ball joint from the wheel knuckle.
Remove the following:
Stabilizer bar link nut (discard the nut)
Stabilizer bar link assembly
Shock absorber lower bolt and flag nut (discard the fasteners)
Lower arm forward nut and bolt (discard the fasteners)
Lower arm rearward nut and bolt and the lower control arm

Before tightening any suspension bushing fasteners, use a suitable jack to raise the suspension until the distance between the center of the hub and the lip of the fender is equal to the measurement taken in Step 1 (curb height).
Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, using new fasteners.
Note the following tightening specifications:
Lower control arm rearward nut and bolt: 148 ft. lbs. (200 Nm)
Lower arm forward nut and bolt: 296 ft. lbs. (400 Nm)
Shock absorber lower bolt and flag nut: 258 ft. lbs. (350 Nm)
Stabilizer bar link nut: 26 ft. lbs. (35 Nm)
Lower ball joint nut: 111 ft. lbs. (150 Nm)
