Oxygen Sensor

The oxygen sensor is located in the exhaust headpipe. To replace it, unplug the connector and unscrew the sensor. Replacement senors will be packaged with anti-sieze compound for the threads. If not, or if you are reinstalling the old unit, the threads MUST be coated with anti-sieze compound! Tighten the sensor to 12 ft. lbs. (16 Nm).
