Ford Mustang/Capri 1979-1988 Repair Guide

With the exception of 1987-88 Mustangs, turn signal flasher units are mounted on the fuse panel, while hazard flasher units are attached to a relay mounting bracket located above the glove compartment. On 1987-88 Mustangs, the turn signal flasher unit is located on the instrument panel reinforcement flange, above the fuse panel, while the hazard flasher unit is mounted on the rear side of the fuse panel.
