Body Lubrication and Maintenance

Body lubrication and maintenance is considered essential to the life and performance of your vehicle. Think of all the small parts that make up today's car. Many of them move, and any moving part could benefit from lubrication, because wear and friction will be greatly reduced. Lubricate the door hinges, hood latch and auxiliary catch, lock cylinders, pivots, etc. When greasing the body components, use a high quality Polyethylene Grease (Ford Part No. D7AZ19584A or equivalent). When lubricating door and window weather-strips, use silicone lubricant. This service also help to reduce friction between the glass frame and the rubber weather-strips.
