A/C Manifold and Tube
REMOVAL & INSTALLATION
Discharge the refrigerant from the system. This should be performed at an authorized service center.
Disconnect the other ends of the suction and discharge lines. Remove any bracket attachments, then remove the A/C manifold and tube assembly from the vehicle.
Lubricate the new O-rings seals with clean refrigerant oil, then position them in the grooves of the compressor rear head.
Position the A/C manifold and tube on the rear of the head of the compressor, making sure the manifold pilots are positioned in the compressor port openings. Install the manifolds and tube retaining bolt. Tighten them to 13-17 ft. lbs. (18-23 Nm).
Connect the other ends of the suction and discharge lines using new O-rings. Install the bracket attachments disconnected previously during removal.
