Carefully clamp locking pliers on the cooling jet, place a prybar under the pliers to act as a pivot, and pry the jet out of the cylinder.
Position tool 14-0307 over the main bearing saddles. Place a new cooling jet in the tool, align the tool over the hole and start the jet into the hole.
Drive the jet into place by hitting the tool with a hammer until the tool drive bottoms in the body of the tool.
Use tool 14-0311 to verify the correct jet alignment. The pointer of the tool must index with the center of the target hole in the tool template. If not, carefully bend the jet tube until the pointer is centered.
