REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



  1. Matchmark the sway bar for proper reinstallation.
  2.  
  3. Disconnect the sway bar links from the end of the sway bar.
  4.  
  5. Remove the sway bar bushing brackets from the vehicle's underbody.
  6.  
  7. Remove the sway bar.
  8.  

To install:
  1. Installation is the reverse of removal, noting the following steps:
    1. Apply silicone grease between the sway bar bracket busing and sway bar.
    2.  
    3. Tighten the sway bar retainers, as follows:

      Sway bar bracket-to-body bolts: 16 ft. lbs. (22 Nm)
       
      CRV models: Link nut and bolt 22 ft. lbs. (29 Nm)
       
      4-cylinder Odyssey models: Link nut and bolt 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm)
       
      V6 Odyssey models: Link nut 58 ft. lbs. (78 Nm)
