REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the steering column lower cover or the instrument panel trim plate covering the headlight switch, if equipped with a rocker-type headlight switch.

  1. Disconnect the electrical harness retainer below headlight switch assembly. The switch connector is integral to the instrument panel. Pull the switch outward to disconnect it.
  2.  
  3. Remove the screw with the ground wire at the bottom of the switch housing, as well as all other mounting screws.
  4.

  1. Pull assembly down and rearward, detach wiring harness connectors, bulb(s) and remove assembly.

To install:
  1. Connect wiring harness connectors, bulb(s) and install the assembly.
  2.  
  3. Install the screw with ground wire at the bottom of switch housing and all other mounting screws.
  4.  
  5. Connect the electrical harness retainer below headlight switch assembly. Push the switch inward to connect it.
  6.  
  7. Install the steering column lower cover or the instrument panel trim plate covering the headlight switch, if equipped with a rocker-type headlight switch.
  8.  
  9. Connect the negative battery cable.
  10.
