The antenna trim must be adjusted on AM radios when major repair has been done to the unit or the antenna changed. The trimmer screw is located behind the right side knob. Raise the antenna to its full height. Tune to a weak station around 1400 on the dial, and turn the volume up to maximum. Turn the trimmer screw until the maximum volume is achieved.
