REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

When replacing a speedometer head Federal law requires the odometer reading of the replacement unit be set to the reading of the unit being replaced. If this is not possible, it is required by law to apply a label in the drivers door stating the previous odometer reading and the date of replacement. The replacement reading must be set to zero.
