Inner Toe Link

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



AWD Vehicles

See Figure 1

  1. Raise and support the vehicle.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the toe link sleeve inner tab nut and bolt.
  4.  
  5. Remove the nut from the inner toe link end.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the inner toe link end from the rear crossmember assembly using the ball joint stud remover J-37619 or an equivalent.
  8.  
  9. Remove the inner toe link from the sleeve.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Install the toe link to the sleeve, then position the inner toe link end to the rear crossmember support bar.
  2.  
  3. Connect with the nut to the inner toe link end, then tighten the nut to 61 ft. lbs. (83 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Adjust the rear wheel alignment as needed.
  6.  
  7. Tighten the toe link sleeve inner tab nut and bolt to 14 ft. lbs. (19 Nm).
  8.  
  9. Lower the vehicle.
  10.
