Transaxle

See Figures 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5

The manual transaxle identification number is stamped on a pad on the forward side of the transaxle case, between the upper and middle transaxle-to-engine mounting bolts or on a paper label attached to the transaxle case. If the label is missing or unreadable, use the service parts information label to determine which transaxle was installed. The automatic transaxle identification number is stamped on the oil flange pad to the right of the oil dipstick, at the rear of the transaxle. The automatic transaxle model code tag is on top of the case, next to the shift lever.
