Back-up Light Switch

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figures 1, 2 and 3

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Raise and safely support the vehicle.
  4.  
  5. Detach the electrical connector from the switch.
  6.

  1. Remove the back-up lamp switch from the transmission case.

To install:
  1. Apply a suitable pipe sealant with Teflon® to the threads of the switch.
  2.  
  3. Install the switch and tighten to 35 ft. lbs. (47 Nm).
  4.  
  5. Attach the switch electrical connector.
  6.  
  7. Carefully lower the vehicle, then connect the negative battery cable.
  8.
