REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



  1. Discharge the system using a proper recycling/recovery system. Precise control is possible only when using a proper A/C refrigerant recovery station.
  2.  
  3. If you do not have access to these tools this service can be performed by a reputable shop.
  4.  
  5. Disengage the electrical connection at the pressure cycling switch and remove the switch.
  6.  
  7. Disconnect the refrigerant lines at the accumulator inlet and outlet.
  8.  
  9. Remove the bracket screw and remove the accumulator from the vehicle.
  10.  
  11. Immediately cap the refrigerant lines.
  12.  

To install:
  1. Check the amount of oil in the accumulator and add that amount of fresh 525 refrigerant oil plus 2 fluid ounces (60 ml).
  2.  
  3. Install the new accumulator. Use new O-ring seals and lubricate with refrigerant oil.
  4.  
  5. Evacuate and recharge the system using a proper recycling/recovery system. Precise control is possible only when using a proper A/C refrigerant recovery station.
