REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figures 1 and 2

1970
  1. Remove the three cowl screen attaching screws from the left side of the cowl screen and lift the screen.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the two nuts securing the linkage crank arm to the pivot arm, through the cowl opening.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the wiring and the washer hoses.
  6.  
  7. Remove the three screws which secure the motor and, guiding the crankarm through the hole in the dash, remove the motor.
  8.

To install:
  1. Install the motor guiding the crankarm through the hole in the dash and fasten the three screws which secure the motor.
  2.  
  3. Connect the wiring and washer hoses.
  4.  
  5. Fasten the two nuts which secure the linkage crank arm to the pivot arm.
  6.  
  7. Install the cowl screen and fasten the three screws.
  8.  

1971-87
  1. Remove the cowl screen.
  2.  
  3. Loosen the linkage drive link-to-crank arm attaching nuts, and remove the link from the arm.
  4.

  1. Disconnect the wiring and the washer hoses.
  2.  
  3. Remove the three motor attaching screws, guide the crankarm through the hole in the dash, and remove the motor.
  4.  

To install:
  1. Install the motor, guide the crankarm through the hole in the dash and fasten the three motor attaching screws.
  2.  
  3. Connect the wiring and washer hoses.
  4.  
  5. Fasten the drive link-to-crank arm attaching nuts.
  6.  
  7. Install the cowl screen.
  8.
