CAUTION
The jack that is furnished with the vehicle is only to be used in an emergency to remove a flat tire. Never get beneath the car, start, or run the engine while the vehicle is supported by the jack. Front wheel drive cars have a center line of gravity that is far forward. Take the proper precautions to make sure the car does not fall forward while it is suspended. Personal injury may result if these procedures are not followed exactly.

When using a floor jack to lift the front of the car, lift from the center of the front crossmember. When using floor jack to lift the rear of the car, lift from the center of the rear jack pad.

After lifting the car, place jackstands under the body side pinch welds or similar strong and stable structure. Lower the car onto the jackstands slowly and carefully and check for stability before getting under the car.
