Refrigerant Lines

REMOVAL & INSTALLATION



See Figure 1

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Properly discharge and recover the refrigerant using an approved recovery station. Refer to General Information & Maintenance for details regarding system service.
  4.  
  5. Disconnect the refrigerant line connectors, using a backup wrench as required.
  6.  
  7. Remove refrigerant line support or routing brackets, as required.
  8.  
  9. Remove refrigerant line.
  10.  

To install:
  1. Position new refrigerant line in place, leaving protective caps installed until ready to connect.
  2.  
  3. Install new O-rings on refrigerant line connector fittings. Lubricate with refrigerant oil.
  4.  
  5. Connect refrigerant line, using a backup wrench, as required.
  6.  
  7. Install refrigerant line support or routing brackets, as required.
  8.  
  9. Evacuate, recharge and leak test the system.
  10.  
  11. Connect the negative battery cable.
  12.
