All models except four wheel drive use an independent front suspension with upper and lower control arms and coil springs. 4-wheel drive pick-ups use tapered leaf springs and the traditional solid front axle.

CAUTION
Coil springs are under considerable tension. Be very careful when removing and installing them; they can exert enough force to cause serious injury.
