Fuel Pressure Connection

The fuel pressure connection is non-replaceable, but is serviceable.

SERVICE



See Figure 1

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2.  
  3. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
  4.  
  5. Remove the fuel pressure connection cap.
  6.  
  7. Using a valve core removal tool remove the valve core assembly and discard it.
  8.

To install:
  1. Install a new valve core assembly using a valve core tool.
  2.  
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
  4.  
  5. Turn the ignition ON for 2 seconds and then turn it OFF for 10 seconds. Again turn the ignition ON and check for leaks.
  6.  
  7. Install the fuel pressure connection cap.
  8.
